Beautiful Blake, my baby girl. 6 months ago you made your way into the world, a bit too hastily for my liking, but I get the impression that’s pretty much how you roll.
Your big Blue eyes sparkle every day, your little cherub face crinkles up when you smile and your funny shrieks fill the house with noise (and the aisles of ASDA last week).
In your short life you’ve had to deal with a tonne of shite. Toddler tantrums, Mummy meltdowns, chicken pox x 2, tonsillitis, horrific eczema, jet lag and just having to well “slot in”.
And you’ve taken it all in your stride.
Minus the eczema, you’d be the perfect baby but it makes you miserable and upset and it breaks my heart I can’t help you. Although that aside, when you get a break from the itching you are a doll. I see your micheveous side already. The way you laugh at your brother, encouraging him to show off and get into trouble, the way your shriek with excitement at ANYTHING and the way your eyes follow Daddy around the room, you’ve got him wrapped around your finger already!
You are the most wonderful addition to our family, a girl that has brought us all closer together. I hope we have a special bond as mother and daughter and I can’t wait to see you flourish and grow.
Thanks for reading
